Company ProfileLaunched at the 2001 Motorcycle Show, Biker Miles was the UK’s pioneering reward scheme for motorcyclists. Biker Miles was available via the Sportscard credit card; cardholders earned points at a rate of 1% of spending. These points could then be redeemed against a selection of popular motorcycle accessories, advertised in the Biker Miles catalogue and on line at the Biker Miles web site. In spite of the scheme’s success, particular in comparison to other programmes offered under the Sports Card banner, it folded when Sportscard was acquired by UK Betting plc, who ended all credit card activity. Since then Biker Miles has been actively seeking new partners. We are currently working on a new project, the British Motorcycle Hall of Fame, which aims to honour those people who have made significant contributions to motorcycling in the UK, particularly sporting heroes, but also recognising those who have excelled in the motorcycle industry, design, engineering and those men and women who have promoted motorcycling to the wider public.
