Our sample choices for the circuit racing gallery are all riders who were not only the most successful British racers of their generation, but were also larger than life characters.  Geoff Duke is credited with inventing one-piece leather suits, Barry Sheene was a media super star and Carl Fogarty had an uncompromising attitude to media relations, letting his riding do the talking.
